South Endzone... Finally?

LINK: Jack Trice Stadium's enclosed south end: Could it happen for Iowa State within five years?

Photo rendering from 2009:

Its about time... too many other schools (smaller than Iowa State) have gone farther ahead in the athletic facility arms race. Baylor, TCU, Okie State, K-State to name a few have all had major stadium renovations.

NCAA14

NCAA Football '14 recently came out. Really enjoy the real ESPN graphics, but the best part about the new game is neutral-site games in Dynasty Mode.

Sigma Pi

Sigma Pi guys celebrating Iowa State's win over Oklahoma State at Hilton Coliseum - Mar 6, 2013.

South Dakota

I recently moved to South Dakota. Here are a few photos of my first two months.

Iowa State Football Stadium - Old Cap Timm Field site.

Looking south

Looking Southwest

Looking Southeast

Looking Northwest

Looking Northeast

This stadium is located south of the ISU Arboretum on the site of the old Cap Timm Field, ISU Softball Complex, and track and field complex. This stadium is a hybrid of stadiums at Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. This location would allow tailgating to the south, and a Veishea-esque gameday setting to the north in Campustown and on Iowa State's Central Campus.

Sketchup

Since 2010, a big hobby of mine has been making neighborhoods and sports venues on Google Sketchup. I fully plan on posting many stadium designs (that I fully created) as I find them ready to be posted.

New to blogging

I've now reached 28,000 tweets and receive countless remarks about me posting too many photos on Facebook, so I've decided to put my novel ideas, photos, and misc. creations and findings on this page. Enjoy!
